Project 5000

Build the Child Today

SpreadTalk

Project 5000

This project was started in the year 2016 with the sole aim of reaching 5000 school children in deprived communities in 5 years. All thanks to God, this target was achieved in two years, leaving us to gradually look at impacting this number (5000) on a yearly basis. Project 5000’s aim is to put in these children the winner’s mentality and the attitude of “I can” despite their present unfavorable conditions. In total, 12 schools have been visited with a total number of 2800 impacted from 2016 to 2018. Below are pictures of some of the schools visited, the number impacted and the year of impact.

SpreadTalk

As unemployment seems to be on the raise, SpreadTalk awakens the spirit of entrepreneurship in young people, especially those in the tertiary institutions, since it is pivotal to national development. One thing that makes this conference stand out is the fact that the youth are not empowered by elderly people as it is traditionally done, but are empowered by young ones equally blazing new trails. Having happened three times already, we are hopeful it will get better and greater in the coming years.
